The brothers of
Delta Zeta are excited to be back on campus and ready to
take on the challenges of the new school year. Kappa Week,
which was held the week of September 21st was filled with
several campus activities, and many brothers returned to the
campus for homecoming weekend. Look for the brothers of
Delta Zeta to continue to represent Central State in fine
fashion, and in the tradition of the chapter.

The Brothers of Delta Zeta
Chapter dazzled the homecoming crowd during the weekend of Oct.
9-11th, at the annual homecoming celebration stepshow. The show,
which included brothers from Delta Zeta and Delta (Wilberforce
Univ.) Chapters, featured a variety of cane tosses and original
steps. Although the brothers did take second place to Alpha Phi
Alpha Fraternity, the show was one to remember for ages. To catch a

Hardamon named ECP Strategus
Sept 2009
Congratulations go out to Delta Zeta's own Tyrone Hardamon (DZ
'08) as he joins the East Central Province leadership,
serving in the capacity of Strategus. In addition to serving
on the East Central Province board, Hardamon also serves as
the Vice Polemarch of Delta Zeta Chapter.
Williams
seeks another term as Dayton City Commissioner

Commissioner Joey D. Williams (DZ '86) is running for
re-election as Dayton City Commissioner. A native of Dayton,
Ohio, Williams has supported an agenda that includes
financial stability, creating jobs through economic
development, youth activities & development, ensuring safety
& strong City services, improving education, and bridging

Snell
seeks Ohio state Senate

Oyango Snell (DZ
'96) has thrown his name into the hat for the Ohio state Senate. A
graduate of Central State University and The Ohio State University
School of Law, Oyango has been at the forefront of politics and the
legal system for more than a decade. Born and raised in Chicago,
Illinois, Oyango grew up believing in a higher calling for public
